Within the HouseMenu or HouseMenu2 you have the Scope option which is where you assign what level you want your nav display to begin. Currently the options are -1 (root) 0 (child) and n (the TabID of where you want the menu to start). Is there any way possible to set it so the menu is propogated from the current ID of the page you are on?

If there's no inherant workaround, is there perhaps a way to assign the currenttabid to a variable and use that variable to fill in the scope automatically?

Thanks,

Jason

Jason,

With scope 0 (zero), the menu uses the current page and displays the children.

Are you asking for an option that would display siblings of the current page?

Hi Tim,

I'm working on a page with two menus. The top menu shows root pages and parent pages:

R1
P1
P2

I would like the side menu to show the parent/children whether you are on the parent page or child page:

P1
C1
C2

I am able to do it by assigning the ID of P1 in the XML. However, using this method, I would have to create a unique skin/skin object for each page group in the site.

Is there a better way to do it? Maybe version 2?

You can view the page in the development site at:

Thanks.
Sue

So an entire "subtree" gets rendered.... Definitely not possible right now, but I'll try to figure out the best way to add this. It would be nice functionality.
