How to make solid shampoo: Recipe

The solid shampoo is not the most famous on the market; however, it is a product that is progressively gaining in popularity due to its various qualities, its contribution to the environment, and how easy it is to make from home. With just a few ingredients and a few hours it is possible to create a quality bar shampoo.
When talking about shampoos, probably everyone’s first thought is of a liquid substance that usually has a characteristic color and an aroma that leaves hair smelling delicious for hours and even for a few days, on certain occasions. An option that most prefer is aloe vera shampoo, for example, as it is a great moisturizer, while others prefer an alternative that has a floral fragrance that captivates anyone. However, not all shampoos are liquid and, in addition to that, there are those who prefer those that are not. But exactly what are solid shampoos?
From liquid to bar
A solid shampoo is a small bar, similar to a soap, which is made up of natural elements that, when combined, act on the scalp to clean it in depth.
Although it seems complicated to use, due to how accustomed we are to using the liquid version of this product, this natural chemical-free shampoo is really useful, practical and easy to apply.
To achieve this, you just have to moisten the product by rubbing it between your hands or directly on your hair. You will notice that, after this, it begins to generate foam. When obtaining the foam, massage the scalp and spread the product to the ends to ensure that your hair absorbs the components and, to finish, rinse your hair with plenty of water.
Why is it a good idea to use a shampoo bar?
You already know that it is easy to use and that, although it looks strange, it does its job. However, you probably still don’t know why you should use a natural bar shampoo for your hair. There are several reasons, in fact, and each one is probably more important than the other.
One unit of this natural hair soap offers the same content as three standard-size bottles of liquid shampoo. In fact, each solid shampoo bar can provide up to approximately 80 washes.
Knowing that in a single load trip you can carry the equivalent content of fifteen load trips of liquid shampoo, you will be contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint by using solid shampoo. Also, since the tablet leaves no residue or packaging, no waste is generated.
To be manufactured, it does not need harmful chemical components. Therefore, they are usually suitable options for people with sensitive skin and weak hair.
In addition to all this, most solid shampoos have a neutral pH that makes it possible to use the product in more delicate areas, such as the genital area and even the face.
Finally, even dog shampoo will be more difficult to store than solid shampoo, as this product does not take up space and is light.
