Cocktail without alcohol

In Spain, as in other countries around the world, it is common to celebrate any meeting or party while consuming alcohol. However, for some time now, it is more and more common for people to choose not to consume alcoholic beverages, so it is necessary to know how to adapt to the moment. In this sense, below we will find some non-alcoholic cocktail recipes for everyone to enjoy a party.

There are more and more people who decide to bet on a healthy life, taking care of what they eat and eliminating harmful vices such as tobacco or alcohol from their lives, either by their own decision or for medical reasons. In this sense, offering healthy alternatives such as non-alcoholic wine is becoming increasingly necessary.

Before starting, it should be noted that many of these cocktail recipes contain a large amount of sugar or very sweet ingredients that are not the healthiest either. Having said that, let’s go with our selection of non-alcoholic mixed drinks, ideal for abstainers.

San Francisco

Ingredients:

15 cl of orange juice.

3 cl of lemon juice.

6 cl of pineapple juice.

3 cl of peach juice.

3 cl of grenadine.

Ice. 

The San Francisco drink is, perhaps, one of the first non-alcoholic cocktails in the history of cocktails. It is a very simple combination, which is prepared by adding all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shaking them well. Once this is done, it is served in a tall and wide glass, one of the so-called “Collins” and filled with ice. You can decorate the cocktail with a slice of orange, lemon or a cherry.

Ingredients: 

16 cl of lime juice.

36 cl of tomato juice.

48 cl of orange juice.

2 teaspoons of grenadine.

5 touches of Worcestershire sauce.

1 touch of ground black pepper.

1 chopped chili.

This is not one of those simple non-alcoholic cocktails to prepare, although it is one of the tastiest. To make it, in a jar, pour all the juices and add the salt, the chopped chili, the black pepper and the sauce. Mix everything well, either by stirring with a wooden spoon or with a beater. Finally, let it cool in the fridge for about three hours and serve.

Shirley Temple

Ingredients:

1 L of lemon soda.

1 orange.

Grenadine to taste.

150 g of sour cherries.

The Shirley Temple, together with the San Francisco, is the other great non-alcoholic cocktail present in the great bars around the world. In fact, her name is a tribute to the child actress of the 30s and it is said that it was created for her in California. To prepare it, simply mix all the ingredients in a jar with lots of ice, including the syrup from the sour cherries. Mix everything well and serve in wide and tall glasses, decorating with a slice of orange.

non-alcoholic bloody mary

Ingredients:

60 cl of tomato juice.

4 cl of lemon juice.

Tabasco.

Perrin’s sauce.

Salt.

Black pepper.

Ice.

The Bloody Mary can be prepared in a cocktail shaker or in a container with a tight lid that can be shaken easily. To do this, add the tomato juice, lemon juice, Perrin’s sauce, Tabasco, salt and freshly ground black pepper to the mixing glass. Everything should be shaken so that the ingredients mix well and served in a wide glass. It can be decorated with a piece of celery.

Non-alcoholic michelada

Ingredients:

33 cl of very cold non-alcoholic beer.

Juice of one lime.

Tabasco.

Worcestershire sauce.

Maggi juice.

Tomato juice.

Salt.

Ice.

The Michelada is one of the typical drinks of Mexico and one of the best ways to consume non-alcoholic beer. To prepare it, pour the beer into a tall, wide shake glass filled with ice and add the juice of a lime, salt and the different sauces. Tomato juice and Tabasco are optional, but they give it a different touch.

Pineapple and Ginger

Ingredients:

1 medium sized pineapple.

3 cl of lemon juice.

1 peeled piece of fresh ginger.

1 liter of sparkling water.

Sugar, saccharin or stevia.

If you are looking for a non-alcoholic cocktail that also serves as a purifying drink, this is your best option. To prepare it, start by peeling and chopping the pineapple and ginger. Once ready, add all the ingredients to the blender, squeezing the lemon juice inside. Blend everything well, until smooth. Adjust the sweetness with sugar or stevia, if you prefer something healthier, strain the liquid and keep it in the fridge to cool down. You can serve it with ice, to enjoy even more.

Guacamole smoothie

Ingredients:

1 avocado.

25 cl of tomato juice.

5 cl of lime juice.

1 chopped green chili.

1 clove of garlic.

Sparkling water.

Ice.

For this smoothie you will need to have a blender. In it, put all the ingredients, with the avocado well peeled and add a couple of tablespoons of crushed ice or, if you don’t have crushed ice, a couple or three of cubes. Beat everything for a minute or until it is with a fine and smooth texture. Serve in a tall glass and, to give it a lighter texture, add a little sparkling water or soda.
