Este modelo podría ser una de las mejores consolas Nintendo del 2022 gracias a su portabilidad, ya que precisamente su nombre indica eso, es más liviana y ligera que su versión estándar.
La videoconsola fue diseñada especialmente para quienes desean un dispositivo para jugar de manera portátil constantemente y, además, también para poder ser más asequible que la Nintendo Switch original, ya que tiene un precio menor y ofrece la misma calidad de gráficos a sacrificio de otras cualidades.

Características del equipo
Uno de los primeros aspectos que analizaremos será el diseño de la consola Nintendo Switch Lite. Así como su nombre lo resume, es una versión ligera de la Switch. Su tamaño es de 20,8 x 9,1 x 1,2 centímetros y tiene un peso de 275 gramos, mientras que el modelo estándar tiene un tamaño de 23,9 x 10,2 x 1,4 centímetros y pesa 297 gramos. Como puedes ver, es más compacta que la anterior y también pesa menos, siendo más cómoda de utilizar durante ratos prolongados. Podrá ser adquirida en tres colores diferentes: gris, amarillo y turquesa para que escojas el que más te guste. Asimismo, debes saber que el 8 de noviembre estarán a la venta hasta agotar existencias dos versiones de la Nintendo Switch Lite especial: Zacian y Magenta, personajes de la saga Pokémon.
Con respecto a la visualización su pantalla es tipo LCD de 5,5” con una resolución de 1280 x 720p ofreciendo también sensores táctiles, para que puedas realizar diferentes acciones con la pulsación de tus dedos. Hace uso de una tarjeta de video Nvidia Tegra, tiene una memoria RAM de 4GB de capacidad y su capacidad de almacenamiento se puede aumentar hasta los 32GB, por lo que seguirás disfrutando de una buena calidad en gráficos respetando el brillo, contraste y resolución de los videojuegos lanzados anteriormente.
Ventajas y desventajas
Una de las ventajas que te ofrece la versión Lite de Nintendo Switch es que es más pequeña y compacta que su predecesora, por lo que será más cómoda y fácil de transportar a donde vayas.
Tampoco tendrás que decir adiós a la calidad gráfica, dado que los componentes internos se mantienen y, además, de todo, los títulos ya disponibles para Nintendo Switch son totalmente compatibles con la versión Lite. Gracias a esto, no tendrás que despedirte de ninguno de tus títulos favoritos ni adquirir nuevos si no lo deseas.
También, debe destacarse la variedad de colores que hacen a la Switch Lite una versión atractiva para los niños, y la calidad de fabricación junto con la integración de componentes resistentes, cualidades que ofrecen una larga vida útil para el equipo.
Sin embargo, no todo son buenas noticias. Una de las desventajas más importantes de la Nintendo Switch Lite es que ésta no puede conectarse al dock para reproducir lo visto en ella en un monitor externo, por lo que solamente puede jugarse en el dispositivo.
Además de esto, no podrás retirar los Joy-con de los laterales, dado que están integrados en la estructura. Esto quiere decir que los títulos que requieran del acelerómetro de los Joy-con originales o el uso de infrarrojos, no estarán disponibles para esta versión.
