There are many ways to cook zucchini, one of them is taking it to the oven. For this reason, this is one of the easiest zucchini recipes to make, since it does not require culinary experience or expensive ingredients for its preparation. The result is a healthy, delicious and low-calorie dish .

Firstly, select two zucchini preferably not thick; the idea is that when the cuts in sticks are not too big. Wash them under the tap, dry them and proceed to remove their ends.

Next, you will need to get the staves. To do this, start by cutting each zucchini lengthwise into 2 parts. Then, cut these parts in half and cut them in half again. From each original portion of zucchini, you should get up to 8 sticks; the appearance will be similar to that of French fries.

Next, in a deep plate, mix the zucchini sticks with the garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, black pepper and Parmesan cheese. One recommendation is to buy a piece of cheese and grate it before preparing it, since this way it offers a better aroma and flavor; Also, it could last longer.

Add a little extra virgin olive oil to this mixture and mix all the ingredients with a kitchen spatula. You want to make sure that the Parmesan zucchini is infused with all the spices and seasonings. Once mixed, preserve the preparation.

Now proceed to preheat the convection oven to 200°C, activating the fan and heat function both above and below. While the appliance heats up, use one of its trays and cover it with baking paper; this prevents the zucchini sticks from sticking together. Then place the separated sticks on the tray. You can put them either sideways or with the skin down.

The next step is to put the zucchini in the oven, taking care to place the tray at a medium height. The estimated time for this dish is 30 minutes; however, to get a crunchy texture on both sides, you must turn them 15 minutes after the start of their baking period; To do this, you could help yourself with a kitchen tong.

After the cooking time of the zucchini, proceed to remove it from the oven and serve immediately. Remember to put more grated cheese on the sticks and then bring them to the table to take advantage of their crunchy texture, flavor and aroma of a freshly baked dish.

You can use them as a garnish accompanying foods such as fish or meat; although they are also excellent as an appetizer. In addition, you can vary some ingredients of this recipe and add peppers or curry.
