The best homemade carrot cake

- One and a half cups of sugar (300 grams)

- 200 grams of Philadelphia-type cream cheese

To prepare our carrot cake with cream cheese, we will start with the cake mix. We will take a good size bowl, in which we will place the eggs. We will beat them with intensity until we achieve a foamy texture and with the whites and the yolks duly integrated.
On this mixture, we will add the flour, previously sifted with a sieve or similar. This prevents lumps from appearing during the rest of the process. We will also add the sugar, flour and yeast. It is key to add the ingredients slowly and without stopping mixing, so that they are properly integrated into the mixture. We will continue mixing until we achieve a suitable texture, rather creamy.
The next step in our carrot cake recipe is to add, precisely, the protagonist of this recipe. We will add the grated carrot little by little to the dough, along with the nuts. Again, mix everything until a homogeneous mass is obtained. If you want to add vanilla essence or cinnamon powder, then this is the time.
Once the dough is ready, all we have to do is put the base of our carrot and walnut cake in the oven, which we will have previously preheated to 180 degrees. The cake needs about 30 minutes to be cooked, although it should be checked from time to time. If you have doubts about whether it is ready, you can always prick it with a toothpick or similar. By the way, since it is a simple recipe, you do not need a convection oven or anything complicated to prepare it.
