Superheroe movies

Talking about superheroes implies mentioning two iconic comic book publishers worldwide that, over the years, created their own universes. We refer to Marvel and DC, companies that started in the world of comics taking their heroes and villains to animation, to finally immortalize them on the big screen.

Although today we can find a large number of superhero movies, it is also true that many of the characters on which they are inspired have been developed by Marvel and DC, who have given superheroes a defined personality and a history of life that involves friends, enemies, relatives and a place of origin for each one of them. However, the reality factor could be the central point where Marvel superheroes differ from DC superheroes.

For example, in the Marvel Heroes, most of the cities in which their characters live and fight exist in the real world, with Washington and New York being the most commonly used metropolises. Of course, we can make an exception for Dr.Strange, which is considered another type of universe within the franchise. For its part, DC comics uses cities, countries and planets that are the product of the imaginative talent of the creators of the characters.

Another notorious difference between the two publishers that should be kept in mind when selecting some superhero movies could be the problems experienced by the central characters in regards to their personal lives.

In this sense, Marvel is much more empathetic with its heroes, since in the case of Peter Parker, who hides under the Spiderman suit, we can show through the plot a series of economic problems to which he is exposed.

Likewise, Tony Stark, under the pseudonym of Iron Man, has marked problems with drugs. Meanwhile, DC exposes its superheroes as relatively happy people, whose economic and emotional problems do not significantly affect them.

These are some of the differences most commented on by the followers of both publishers, which will surely serve as a guide to select a list of films suitable for the smallest of the house.
