This is the quintessential game with music for children, since it is very simple and yet provides entertainment and learning at the same time. It is especially useful at children’s parties, thanks to the fact that many children can play at the same time. It consists of placing a group of chairs in a circle, making sure that they are facing away from each other so that the children can sit down easily. The number of chairs must be less than the number of participants, for example, if there are 10 children, there must be 9 chairs. The little ones must make a circle around the chairs, dancing freely but without taking their attention off the music.. An adult must stop the song suddenly, so that the children quickly sit each on a chair, the child left standing leaves the game and a chair must be removed, so now there are 9 children and 8 chairs. In the end, there will be only two children dancing around a single chair and the one who manages to sit down will be the winner.

In this case we will only need music to play and a space according to the number of children. We can choose children’s songs or fashionable popular music. Listening to the sounds, all participants must move to the rhythm of the song . First, the children must listen to the music and think of one or more colors, then, with the help of sheets of paper and colored pencils, the little ones must make a work inspired by the music. The flute is one of the funniest musical instruments for children, but we don’t always have one at home. The good news is that we can easily make a flute and involve children in the process. To achieve this, we will only need 9 colored straws and adhesive tape. First, you have to join the straws one next to the other, taking care that they are well adjusted, for this we will use the adhesive tape. Then, all you have to do is cut all the straws at the bottom in a diagonal line, so that one is smaller than the other. And that’s it, the child can already start blowing.

8. That the rhythm does not stop

If you have some basic knowledge of music, you can improvise a game with musical rhythms. For this it is advisable to use a binary or quaternary compass. One of the activities to work on rhythm in children consists of imitating a sequence following the rhythm of a song. The adult makes a series of sounds with the palms and the child imitates the rhythm, sounds can also be made with the feet on the ground or by bringing the hands to the chest or thighs, as if the body were a drum. The difficulty can be increased and the sequences must be longer and more complex.
